Seiya Vs Rauri Vs Kanon!!

These days I've been thinking a lot of things. For a change.

I know. At this point I should be finishing coloring the charsets and maps of the game. But nope.

Life things. Time passes, and life gets difficult sometimes. The most urgent things take center stage and hobbies are relegated, because that is life.

But in the meantime, you start thinking. And you remember that Manga that you had planned for so long.
That manga that had the whole story line developed (minus the dialogues), which had its main characters very Default, with those simple but charming enemies.
And you realize that that story is completely adaptable to a game.

Not only that. You remember that first draft of what ended up being that manga, that story even more cliché, with characters less developed, but with a story more distant to parody and think: "Hey! That too can be a great game! "

And come the pros and cons.

A fangame is not so well seen. It can not be easily publicized. Less receive some money for him.
But it is easier to propagate. Fans of the series will be curious to see what it is. And if the story is well developed and the graphics are acceptable, it can be successful.

On the other hand, a game based on a manga that you have not yet drawn, can be very problematic.
The script, the development of characters, the threads of history, all that would be covered. The designs of characters, places and enemies, zap! Everything at once.
But draw, apply tones, letters and plus develop the graphics and events of the game? Uff, that will be very difficult!

And finally, that story that was the basis of the manga, which took another course, another entity, but that same point of departure.
It still lacks development, still has a lack of life, still lacks a lot of history, but there he is, ready to be told.

Three projects. Three different stories, all struggling to be told in some way.

And a decision that is not easy to take. Which of them will see the light of day first?
Or, could any of them even exist beyond a thought?

I'm talking of:
Fan game: Saint Seiya

Fan game in Development. The main reason why I opened this blog. It's been several years since I thought this story, and it evolve since a simple retold of the "Sanctuary/Poseidon" plot of the serie.
It still lacks much development, but I'm really excited to finish it.
Main Character, of course, is Seiya, the protagonist of the series.

History: Millenium Warriors. First draft.
A little story I wrote for a manga, based on friends I've meet on several forums. We meet each other since severals year now. And even when we live in differents parts of the world, we keep in touch now an then.
It's a little more "serious" kind of story, but not too far from the basics of an anime or manga. That's my primal inspiration. I love japanese storytelling.
There are three Main Characters, but for this Entry I choose Rauri.

Manga: Kanon's Bar. In Developing.
This is the refined Millenium Warriors's Story. It Took a completely different course. I've ended up writting a sort of parody of tipical anime and manga storylines, Mixing it with some Internet's Daily stumbles. It's my intenttion to finish this manga someday, hopefuly sooner than later.
Again, there are three Main Characters, but for this entry an as a counterpart of Rauri, I've choose Kanon.

Thank you for reading.

Saludos!! (Or Greetings!! xD)
